About us
The Centre is managed by SADCIC, the Saxmundham & District Community Interest Company and its team of volunteer directors; we have a long lease for the Centre from Suffolk County Council, which has carried out major refurbishment works to the Street Farm Road site. We have no employed staff, but run wholly thanks to the commitment of our volunteers.
Grand Opening Ceremony
The Centre opened in its current premises in November 2021; we held our grand formal Opening Ceremony a few months later, on 9th July 2022, alongside the town’s 750th Festival – with the mock King Henry III granting a ‘charter’ to our Chair, Steve Palmer, with local MP Thérèse Coffey and County Councillor Ricard Smith in attendance.

Each hirer now has a unique 4 digit door code which is configured to individual bookings. If you have not received your new ‘personalised’ code please email fromus.centre@gmail.com ASAP.
The code for the outside keybox remains unchanged.
NHS Midwives
The Midwives team continue to operate from the Saxmundham Hub complex and are now located at Block A behind the new library. The Midwifery team can be contacted by text message only on 07710 716948.
NHS Midwives + Childrens Services
Children’s Services hold clinics on a Wednesday and Friday mornings at The Fromus Centre. We regret the Fromus Centre booking line telephone number is unable to assist with NHS or SCC Childrens Services appointment queries etc. Please contact Childrens Services at the Leiston Family Hub Tel 01728 642930.
